What’s the slowest five seconds of your life? Waiting to click “Skip Ad” on YouTube.
Customers like to buy but hate to be sold, and they choose with whom they will engage, when and for how long. Unless we create content that adds value to them – through education, information and inspiration – and enhances their lives in some way, they are unlikely to choose to engage with us.
Good content shows we care, we understand, we are experts; that we have something of value to offer them…
Multiple channels like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, blogs, etc, also require different types of content e.g. video, photos, articles (one shoe size doesn’t fit all), and those forms of content should appeal to the browser behaviour of people because very few people willing click on Ads.
Q: Where do you hide a dead body?
A: On page two of Google.
The search engine giant rewards good content. If you want to be on page one consistently, you have to do content.
